How to remodify your PS Vita

with a wide range of capabilities. However, users may need to re-modify their Vita to enable homebrew applications and more. This
comprehensive guide will walk you through the steps to successfully re-modify
your system, allowing you to enjoy homebrew applications and unlock their full
potential.
Prerequisites
Before starting the remodification process, ensure that you have:
- A PlayStation Vita (remove the SD card at the top of the console)
- A stable Wi-Fi connection
Step 1: Connect Your Device to the Internet
From the live area of your Vita, navigate to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi Settings. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
- Open the Browser: On the home screen, find the Browser icon and tap it or select it with the X button.
- Address Bar: When the browser opens, navigate to the address bar. Delete any existing URL by pressing the square button repeatedly. Enter the following URL using the virtual keyboard: http://jailbreak.psp2.dev
- Go to the URL: Tap the green box with the white arrow in the bottom right corner or press the Right Trigger 2.
Bookmark the Page
To save the page for future reference:
- Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner.
- Select Add Bookmark and confirm by selecting OK.
Step 3: Squeaky Clean Your Browser for Best Results
- Open Browser Settings: Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner and select Settings.
- Enable JavaScript: Ensure JavaScript is enabled by checking the box next to it.
- Delete Cookies: Select Delete Cookies, and press X to confirm by selecting Yes.
- Clear Search History: Select Clear Search History with the X button, confirm by sliding to the Yes button, and press X.
Step 4: Begin the Remodification Process
- Navigate to Remod Page: Use the D-pad to control the pointer. Move it to Unlock My Vita and select it with the X button. The browser will open to the Henlo bootstrap.
- Install HENkaku: On the new page, select Install HENkaku and wait for the installation to be completed, regardless of what model you are using.
- Install VitaDeploy: For all models except the Vita 1000 without a memory card, select Install VitaDeploy. For a Vita 1000 with no memory card, select Replace Near with VitaDeploy. Then exit the Henlo by selecting the Exit menu button with the X.
Step 5: Enable Homebrew Capabilities
- Open Settings: Find the Settings bubble on the live area of your device and tap it or select it with the X button.
- HENkaku Settings: Inside the settings menu, find HENkaku Settings and select it. Check the unchecked boxes to enable Homebrew applications. Press the circle button to go back to the main menu, press the PlayStation button, and press and hold the circle button to go to the live area.
Step 6: Use VitaDeploy to Install Firmware
- Open VitaDeploy: Locate the VitaDeploy bubble in the live area, tap it, or select it with the X button to launch it.
- Install a Different OS: From the main menu, navigate to Install a Different OS and select Quick 3.65 Install.
- Confirm Downgrade: Confirm that you want to downgrade your system software to version 3.65. The system will pause for 20 seconds to display a warning, then prompt you to press the X button to continue. The system will perform the usual downgrade and restart.
Step 7: Install Essential Packages
- Reopen VitaDeploy: After the restart, open VitaDeploy again.
- Download iTLS Installer: Navigate to App Downloader, scroll to find iTLS Installer, and mark the checkbox next to it, and select Download the selected app with the X button.
- Install iTLS Package: Download and install the iTLS package by launching the iTLS-Enso icon. Your system will reboot automatically after installation.
Step 8: Final Settings Adjustments
- Prevent Automatic Updates:
- Go to Settings > System > Auto-Start Settings.
- Uncheck Download Update File for System Software to prevent automatic updates. Press the circle button to go back to the main menu.
- Enable Version Spoofing:
- In the settings menu, go to HENkaku Settings.
- Ensure Enable Version Spoofing is checked.
- Set the spoofed version to 3.74.
Now, reinsert the SD card into your PS Vita and you are all set!
